Housing Co-op

As well as a musical movement, 12 tone is a cultural movement.
We are raising money to build a self-sufficient housing co-operative in London.
Over the course of the summer in 2008, we raised enough money to fully incorporate a Community Land Trust. This trust is run by elder members of our community, and it is where we are donating our profits.
The Community Land Trust is called Rural Urban Synthesis Society Ltd.
Through micro-generation and permaculture, we plan to build a housing co-operative that demonstrates that through good architecture and through the use of existing technologies we can live in a sustainable way whilst maintaining a 'developed', technological lifestyle.
London is an epicenter for the modern, consumerist society so prevalent round the world today. We believe, through the re-ruralisation of such urban areas, a new way of life, and a new culture will emerge.
